A guide for UK companies and relocation groups on booking bulk long-stay corporate accommodation in Dubai.
Dubai is an important destination for international business, investment and relocation. For UK companies, the accommodation requirement can go beyond a traditional holiday.
Employees may need to stay in Dubai for one month, three months, six months, temporary assignments, business setup, relocation, consulting projects, training, or corporate expansion.
A UK company may relocate 15 employees to Dubai. Instead of booking 15 separate rooms, the company can request 15 furnished units for 90 nights — creating a single accommodation requirement.
For longer stays, serviced apartments can provide additional living space and facilities. A typical serviced apartment may offer a bedroom, living area, kitchen, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, laundry, and utilities. The exact facilities vary by property.
UK companies may consider locations such as DIFC, Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JLT, Barsha Heights, Al Barsha, and Sheikh Zayed Road. The best location depends on the workplace and transportation requirements.
Employees moving permanently to Dubai may need temporary accommodation while searching for a permanent residence. A 30- to 90-night hotel apartment can act as a bridge between arrival in the UAE, temporary accommodation, and permanent housing — reducing pressure on employees during relocation.
UK travel companies may also require multiple units for tours, family groups, corporate groups, events, sports groups, and extended holidays. For 30+ night requirements, a long-stay accommodation marketplace can be more relevant than a conventional hotel search.
For UK businesses sending employees to Dubai, bulk hotel and serviced-apartment booking can simplify accommodation planning. The key is to define the number of units, length of stay, location and budget before requesting availability.
