Practical considerations for planning a 60-night hotel or serviced apartment stay in Dubai.
A 60-night stay is long enough that guests generally benefit from treating it as a genuine "temporary home" search rather than an extended hotel booking — the extra month compared to a 30-night stay changes what's worth prioritising.
At two months, many guests find a studio or one-bedroom hotel apartment more comfortable than a standard hotel room, simply because of the extra time spent living rather than just sleeping in the space. A kitchen, even a small one, meaningfully reduces daily costs and hassle over 60 nights.
Two months is squarely inside most properties' long-stay pricing bands, so a monthly rate — not a nightly one — should be the basis for comparison. Some properties offer a modest additional discount for 60+ nights compared to their standard 30-night rate; it's worth asking directly.
Since 60 nights typically spans two billing cycles, confirm upfront how invoicing works — one payment at check-in, or monthly instalments — and what the process is if the stay needs to extend or shorten partway through.
Two-month stays are common for project assignments, sabbaticals, medical treatment periods, and relocation employees who expect to find permanent housing within roughly eight weeks.
Sixty nights is long enough to justify prioritising living space and kitchen access over pure hotel-style service, while still being short enough that a hotel apartment — rather than a residential lease — remains the practical choice.
