A quick, practical guide for booking exactly 20 hotel rooms in Dubai — what to prepare, what to ask, and how pricing works at this size.
Twenty rooms sits in an interesting spot: too large for a normal individual reservation, but often still small enough that a single well-connected property can accommodate the whole group without splitting it across buildings.
Here's a focused checklist for exactly this size of request.
Below roughly 10–15 rooms, many properties will simply process the reservation like a slightly larger individual booking. At 20 rooms, most hotels shift into their group-sales or corporate-sales process, which usually means a dedicated contact, a rooming-list requirement, and access to negotiated rates that aren't shown on the public site.
At 20 rooms, it's reasonable to ask about a group rate, a single consolidated invoice, a dedicated booking contact, and flexibility on final room-count adjustments closer to arrival (many groups need to add or drop 1–2 rooms).
If the 20 rooms are needed for 30 nights or more — a project team, a training cohort, or a relocation group — treat it as a long-stay corporate request rather than a standard group hotel booking. The pricing conversation should be about the monthly rate per unit, not the nightly rate.
Twenty rooms is large enough to unlock group pricing but small enough that most established Dubai properties can genuinely accommodate the whole request in one place. Come prepared with dates, room mix, and budget, and be explicit about whether it's a short stay or a long-stay requirement.
