How companies can reserve multiple hotel apartments and serviced units for large teams, relocation, and long-term project accommodation.
When a company needs accommodation for a large team, booking individual hotel rooms may not always be the most practical solution.
For employees staying for one month, three months or longer, companies often require larger accommodation units with additional facilities. This has increased demand for bulk hotel unit booking, particularly for corporate relocation, project accommodation and long-stay employee housing.
Bulk hotel unit booking means reserving multiple accommodation units within a hotel, serviced apartment building or aparthotel. For example:
This can be particularly useful for companies managing large employee groups.
Hotel apartments can provide facilities that traditional hotel rooms may not. Depending on the property, they may include a kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, living room, dining area, separate bedroom, workspace, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, gym, swimming pool, and parking. For employees staying for several months, these facilities can make accommodation more comfortable.
Companies can use bulk apartment booking for:
Employees moving to another country often need temporary accommodation.
Large project teams may require accommodation near project sites.
New offices can require temporary accommodation for employees during the initial setup.
Managers, consultants and specialists may remain in another city for several months.
When a company books multiple units, it may be able to request a corporate or long-stay rate. The final rate can depend on the number of units, length of stay, season, property location, unit category, occupancy, availability, and required services. A 90-night corporate requirement should be evaluated differently from a two-night booking.
Imagine a company needs 30 apartments for 90 nights in Dubai. Instead of making 30 individual reservations, the company can submit one corporate accommodation requirement. The accommodation provider can then propose suitable properties and unit types. This creates a more efficient procurement process — the same approach applies equally to 30 apartments in Mumbai, Shanghai, or Shenzhen.
Dubai has a large selection of hotels, serviced apartments and aparthotels suitable for corporate stays. Popular corporate areas include Business Bay, Barsha Heights, JLT, Dubai Marina, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and DIP. Companies should select locations based on employee workplace, transport requirements and project duration.
China's major commercial hubs — Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Hong Kong — have fast-growing demand for long-stay corporate accommodation as multinational companies expand teams, relocate staff, and run extended projects across the region.
Companies sourcing accommodation in China should compare monthly serviced-apartment rates, proximity to business districts (e.g. Shanghai's Lujiazui and Jing'an, Shenzhen's Futian and Nanshan, Beijing's Chaoyang and Haidian), and whether bulk or group rates are available for teams of 10, 50, or 100+ employees.
For bulk apartment bookings in China, companies should also weigh unit size against local norms — apartments in dense hubs like Shanghai and Shenzhen tend to run smaller than in Dubai or Mumbai, so confirming livable space per employee is an important part of the sourcing brief.
Bulk hotel unit booking provides companies with a practical way to accommodate large teams, whether in Dubai, India, China, or any other global market. For stays of 30 nights or more, serviced apartments and hotel apartments can be particularly valuable because they combine accommodation, hotel services and residential-style facilities.
